Couchsurfing is a web app that allows you to search for people to host you for free (you are "surfing" on their couch, hence the name). By being a host on couchsurfing, you get to know people from abroad without even travelling. By being a surfer, you get free accommodation and can see the city from the eyes of a local. After each stay, the surfer and the host write references for each other so the other members can see that they are trustworthy.
I created this page to show off my couchsurfing references without the need for you to register there. If you want to verify, go to my couchsurfing profile. Here is a sample of the 80 references:
Staying with Peter and hanging out with him was probably one of the highlights of my whole journey, I arrived later in the day but we still managed to go on a little hike and climb up the transmission tower and it was so worth it, I could not recommend enough!! I got to see an amazing view that I would have otherwise missed + hear some very cool stories 🪲 I find him to be truly inspiring and beyond interesting!! He’s also very friendly and thoughtful. I’m grateful he agreed to do this despite it being kinda last minute and considering his busy schedule ☀️ I hope to cross path again someday in the future🌸

I stayed one night at Peter's place and I absolutly loved it ! Peter is a great guy, very welcoming, chill and interesting. I spent the whole evening with him and his friends, talking, drinking, eating. He gave me a tour of Bratislava by night, showed me his favorite spots, while talking about everything. Such an amazing night :) and cherry on the cake, we even went on a techno party together two nights later ! And I have to mention that Peter's place is a little paradise for every hippie soul, I really loved it. So of course I recommend him to anyone having the chance to cross his path !! Thank you so much for everything Peter, I hope to see you soon :)

Peter was my very first host - accidentally actually! I was strolling through the city with my backpack and sleeping bag and he came up to me and introduced himself. When I've told him I didn't have a place to sleep he promptly offered me to stay at him. This alone should tell you all you need to know about his character. But wait, there's more! He has many amazing stories to tell you because he's been around the world. I don't think I could've asked for a better first couchsurfing experience. Cheers mate!

Meeting Peter was like meeting an old friend. I immediately felt like I was hanging out with a friend from childhood. He is full (and I mean really full) of positive energy. In the day we spent together we went swimming in the Danub, running up and down hill in the forest, and visiting a few abandoned soviet buildings (very spooky but awesome). It was the greatest and most memorable experience. I really wish we meet again and go on more adventures. Please continue to enjoy life to the fullest and thank you so much for you amazing hospitality. Hasta la próxima!

Peter made Slovakia fun. If it wasn't for him, I could not know the hidden gems of Slovakia. We went on a hiking trip, we shared the cake under the trees, we ate authentic Slovakian food and Vietnamese food, and enjoyed a stand-up comedy at a local CS hang out bar. All the times Peter made me feel so welcomed, comfortable and fun with his pleasing personalities. Can't wait to see him again soon!
